Veterans Focus

At Bender Consulting Services, we have a strong commitment to employing Veterans with disabilities. Our Veterans put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms we all count on in the United States. Yet, when they return from service with a disability, they often face discrimination when applying for employment opportunities. Because of our strong commitment to our servicemen and women, we perform outreach to Veterans organizations across the United States when conducting our recruitment efforts. Bender receives positions from customers in locations throughout the United States interested in including disabled Veterans in their workforce in career areas such as information technology, health care, engineering, accounting/finance, legal, logistics, operations management, and more.

The VetSuccess Program assists individuals with service connected disabilities in preparing for, finding, and keeping employment. They also offer services for veterans with service related disabilities who are not yet able to return to work to improve their ability to live independently.

Hire Heroes USA is a non-profit organization that offers transition and job search assistance to veterans in order to decrease unemployment for individuals who have served in the United States military. Their services focus on assisting veterans of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM, and veterans that are wounded or disabled.

Paralyzed Veterans of America was founded by a group of World War II service members who returned home with spinal cord injuries. The organization assists veterans with receiving quality VA health care and benefits, provides vocational rehabilitation services, and supports civil rights for people with disabilities.
