Clark specializes in routine chemical analysis and comprehensive investigative chemical testing for the steel and related industries. Clark's analytical chemistry lab ensures the highest caliber proficiency through expertise, documented test procedures, and stringent quality assurance standards.
All chemical analyses are performed under our ISO/IEC Guide 17025 standards and in accordance with ASTM, API or other approved applicable methods. Additionally, we have experience utilizing chemical techniques to develop new methods. Clark's analytical chemistry lab ensures our client's materials are meeting all required specifications. We help identify and assess characteristics, properties and flaws of materials and metal parts.
Clark routinely analyzes ferrous and nonferrous metals, metallic and organic coatings, process solutions, petroleum products, and surface cleanliness of steel. Other capabilities include analysis of raw materials and by-products such as steel additives, fluxes, ceramics, refractory, slag, lime, pellets, scrap, bag house dust, coal and coke, as well as other industrial materials for composition and/or contamination.

Clark Laboratories analytical chemistry lab is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory providing testing services to all industries on an array of materials. Testing is driven by client need of benchmark testing, product comparison, product verification, and failure analysis.
Condition Monitoring
Clark Testing Condition Monitoring Services Laboratory (CMS Lab) provides oil analysis and diagnostics to enhance maintenance programs. Our CMS Lab assists maintenance professionals in the early detection of equipment problems, and in predicting future machine reliability. The CMS Lab provides oil, water glycol, and grease analyses to help maximize machinery performance, extend oil change intervals, and minimize oil-related disruptions in production schedules.
Industrial Hygiene
Clark Testing’s Industrial Hygiene Laboratory supports Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) programs for varying industries. accredited by the AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs (AIHA LAP, LLC), we assist customers in selecting the proper NIOSH or OSHA method(s) necessary to carry out the appropriate sampling.
Fuels and Lubrication
Clark Testing Fuel and Lubrication Testing Laboratory specializes in wear testing of products based on test rigs such as Four-Ball wear (D4172, D2266), Hydraulic Pump Wear (D7043), and FZG Gear (D4998, D5182, DIN 51354, and ISO 14635). Clark Testing Fuels and Lubricants Laboratory is fully equipped to perform tests ranging from routine analyses to quality control. With over 20 years of analytical experience, coupled with a stringent quality assurance program, this lab is dedicated to serving client requests on time.
